Introducing the Digital Economy Diversity Network

Janis and Angelika will be attending the Digital Economy Network (DEN) Summer School 2017 hosted by Loughborough University London’s Centre for Doctoral Training in Embedded Intelligence on the 4th of July.

At this event, they will introduce the new Digital Economy Diversity Network to the DEN students and other attending the summer school. We hope to encourage others to take part in our planned events, and hope that other ideas will come from this network; to create a space that fosters inclusion and supports innovative ideas to increase diversity within the DEN and their CDTs.

At the summer school, we will also be hosting our first get-together. This will take shape in the form of a workshop that anyone who is interested and present at the summer school will be able to take part in. It is the first chance to understand some of the issues that students face in CDTs that aren’t our own; to create a number of potential topics for subsequent DEDN meetings.
