Sebastian Mellor | Doctoral Trainee

Sebastian Mellor

Sebastian is a PhD student at Open Lab, Newcastle University. Having completed a Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics also at Newcastle University. Sebastian joined the Machine Learning group within Open Lab where he has worked on sensing infrastructure design.

Through collaborative work with research departments within the University Sebastian has focused on visualisation and exploration of data made available through various University systems. He is now developing and evaluating tools to aid research across the university and encourage collaboration between faculties, schools, and individuals.
