Carlton Shepherd | PhD Student

Carlton Shepherd

I initally joined Culture Lab in June 2013 as a Temporary Assistant before beginning my PhD, funded by the AHRC Creative Exchange, under the supervision of Patrick Olivier in October 2013.  I previously studied BSc Computer Science at the School of Computing Science, Newcastle University, where I graduated with first class honours in July 2013.

My research interests reside in the domains of mobile and wearable computing, machine learning and computer security. In my spare time, I enjoy playing Texas Hold'em poker and following the latest political and technological affairs.
