Ebtisam Alabdulqader

Ebtisam is a PhD.candidate based in the Open Lab (formerly Digital Interaction Group (DIG) at Culture Lab) of the School of Computing Science at Newcastle University. She is particularly interested in modern technologies for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), assistive technologies and health informatics. Currently, her PhD. research focus on participatory design of smart phone technology to support speech therapy for very young children with cerebral palsy, and she is working toward a PhD. degree under the supervision of Professor Patrick Olivier. Ebtisam graduated from the College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University with BSc. of Computer Applications, and also a MSc. degree of Information Systems with a dissertation in designing and implementation of electronic healthcare model based on smart card for Saudi medical centers. Furthermore, she remained to continue a career in academia as a lecturer in the College of Computer and Information Sciences, Information Technology Department at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. http://fac.ksu.edu.sa/ealabdulqader
