I am a HCI researcher who works on the intersection of computational and social sciences. I design, build and evaluate culturally sensitive digital technologies aimed to support issues of real societal concern. My current work focuses primarily on rural public health and education.
I currently work as a Research Associate at Open Lab, Newcastle University. Previously, I did my PhD (expected conferment Dec 2015) at the Interaction Design Lab, University of Melbourne. I, also, worked in the Nossal Institute for Global Health, the University of Houston and the Texas Medical Center. I am addicted to marathon running.
