Open Lab is home to the cross-disciplinary EPSRC Doctoral Training Centre in Digital Civics (for students with a background in one or more of computer science, social science, education, planning, business, design, health, public health or social care). The four-year course (MRes plus PhD) will train candidates in the design, deployment and evaluation of community-driven digital technologies and services.
Applicants for our fifth cohort, to start in September 2018, will open in late 2017. We will have up to 11 fully funded (fees and stipend) four-year studentships available for UK/EU applicants.
