We invite researchers interested in participating to submit 2-4 page position papers (SigConf format, template available at http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template).
Your papers should critically reflect on how your research interests addresses issues faced by refugee communities. Experience reflected on does not have to be specific to work done with refugees, however you should discuss how lessons learnt and methods used can be adapted and applied to refugee contexts. The paper can focus on technologies deployed, methods used or lessons learnt from similar contexts. You can also critically engage with the applicability of different methodologies in conducting HCI research within the humanitarian context.
Position papers will be reviewed based on relevance to the workshop and the potential for contributing to discussions on methods and the research agenda to be developed during the workshop. At least one co-author of each accepted paper should attend the workshop .
Submissions should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org in .pdf format.
