Doctoral Trainee
I am a first year PhD candidate exploring the design and use of digital civics from rural communities. I am interested in how social and technological infrastructures support information sharing and civic participation, and in the potential for socio-technical innovations to support rural resilience.
I graduated with a BSc in computer science from the University of Nottingham, where my studies focussed on topics in HCI. My dissertation was centred around how digital technologies could support citizen science approaches to mental health research.
Outside of my studies, I like to unwind by either calmly playing board games or less calmly playing the drums.
