My role in Open Lab is facilitating creative technologies for the in-house research community. From microcontrollers to 3D printers (and everything in between) - stop by the MakerSpace to find everything you need to get up and running.
As like people technology is evolving, and it is a natural hobby of mine to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements on the market. It is my job to help researchers access the potential of both physical computing and digital fabrication by providing design direction, necessary training of facilities, and teaching of practices through ever-progressing hardware and software.
With a background in Product Design (BSc & MSc) and industry experience in Exhibition Design, my primary interest is the connection between people and technology. For me, productive research interrogates that relationship in a way we may not expect, rewarding insights we may not have known. I strive to reflect this direction of thinking in my work where I always look forward to working for a project and the people involved - be it low or high-fidelity production.
