I have been practicing as a Designer for 10 years working in digital companies and then moved into NGOs and Free and Libre Open Source Software organisations, working on complex problems like sustainable food systems, peace-building and crisis response technology. I now work part-time at Open Food Network while pursuing my research at the Open Lab at Newcastle University into how designers participate and engage with Humanitarian Open Source Software (HOSS).
I am part of the core community teams at Open Source Design, Human Rights Centered Design Community, Open IDEO London Chapter, Tech For Good South West and The Sustain Design & UX working group which publish a podcast.
I am a non-binary, queer person who uses they/them pronouns.
