I am a data scientist with a passion for deriving impactful insights and solutions, especially within the healthcare and technology sectors. I hold a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. My master’s dissertation focused on designing a machine learning and deep learning application to forecast chronic kidney disease.
My background in computer science and data science enables me to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and improve outcomes using machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data visualization tools.
I am a research assistant - data scientist at EPSRC NortHFutures - Open Lab, Newcastle University, supporting in the design and implementation of a robust trusted research environment architecture. I previously worked at NHS England, my analytical work entailed Urgent and Emergency Care for national reporting, collaborating with NHS Sites, Trusts, and Regions to ensure accurate data analysis and submissions. My time at Amazon as a Business Analyst involved developing technologies to optimize delivery station capacities across Europe and enhancing operational efficiency using data. At Etranzact Plc, my work involved predictive analytics to mitigate financial risks. My research interest focuses on designing self-care solutions to monitor health-related challenges and developing recommender systems that create effective plans to slow the progression of terminal illnesses.
Currently, I am engaged in projects that facilitate collaborative healthcare data interactions and secure data environments, contributing to advancements in medical informatics and health data analytics. I remain committed to leveraging the power of data science to drive innovation and foster meaningful change in society.
