Bio

In my PhD project I explore ways in which digital technology can empower people in making healthy and sustainable food choices. I'm looking at ways to personalize information and simplify the access to the information and actual products, for example by using chatbot technology to guide people to the decision process. My main supervisor on this project is Jan Smeddinck.

With a background in behavioural sciences I have a strong interest in understanding human decision making. I have a particular interest for understanding how knowledge of human decision making can be applied to find practical ways to help people to happy, healthy and sustainable lives. To achieve these goals, I see much potential in digital technology. This because of the scalability, the data collecting possibilities and the fast developments in the field.
