I am the communications officer for Open Lab.

Throughout my career working in communications I have always strived to work with people who make a difference. I have worked with EU policy researchers, top tier scientists, and game-changing social enterprises.

I am an excellent wordsmith who loves to come up with exciting and concise ways to tell a story whether that’s through a short blog, a tweet, a press release or creating new website copy.

I have always been interested in how technology can be used to change people’s lives, from writing about open data as a journalist to working for a healthtech company in Newcastle. I believe technology plays a crucial and positive role in education, healthcare and social change.

Outside of Open Lab – you will probably find me running, hiking, or playing boardgames.
